To Use Nefsis, All You Need is a Computer &
Broadband Internet Access
Nefsis uses industry standard web browsers and Internet
connections that traverse firewalls and proxies for business
users. Nefsis is bandwidth and video peripheral agnostic,
allowing you to use any Internet connection type and webcam
or camera.
The quality and speed of your online meeting experience will
be governed by your video capture device, computer processing
power, and real-time bandwidth availability.
Minimum System Requirements
For Conference Hosts & Presenters
- Windows XP 32 bit or Windows 7 (32bit or 64bit)
- Core2 Quad, Intel i3, i5 or i7 equivalent CPU
Note: Low-powered laptops are not recommended for hosting Nefsis conferences
- Video card with 512 MB video RAM (embedded video cards are not recommended)
- 4 GB of RAM
- 100 MB of available HDD space (additional space recommended for conference recording features)
- 100 MBit NIC or higher
- High speed broadband Internet access (at least 1 Mbps upstream and 4 Mbps downstream)
- DirectX 9.1 or later compatible webcam or video input (optional, to send video)
- DirectSound compatible audio input (optional, to send VoIP audio), and headset or speakers
- Microsoft® PowerPoint® 97 or later (optional, to
share PowerPoint presentations)
For Conference Participants
- Windows XP 32 bit or Windows 7 (32bit or 64bit)
- Pentium 4, Core2 Duo, Quad Core, Intel i3, i5 or i7 equivalent CPU
- 2 GB of RAM
- 100 MB of available HDD space
- 100 MBit NIC or higher
- High speed broadband Internet access (at least 512 Kbps upstream and 4 Mbps downstream)
- DirectX 9.1 or later compatible webcam or video input (optional, to send video)
- DirectSound compatible audio input (optional, to send VoIP audio), and headset or speakers
No Proprietary Hardware Required. Nefsis
uses widely available, Windows compatible audio and video
